Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Develop best practices and implement routine checks on Infrastructure e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Fire life Safety Systems.
- Schedule and perform preventive maintenance activities on all facility equipments.
- Ensures that all contractors, Vendors on site aware of and adhere to all Company Safety Procedures and that they signify by signing the proper documentation.
- Interfaces with other departments, contractor and supplier on all facility related matters.
- Assists in the department budget process and audits to ensure that goals are met.
- Responsible for effective communications levels and fosters team building.
- Responsible for adherence to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
- Identifies and recommends opportunities on energy Conservative programs from time to time.
- Evaluates and recommends upgrading in facility equipments including, electrical, HVAC and etc.
- Plan and execute Energy Efficiency Projects/Programs.
- Plans, directs, and coordinates activities concerned with design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery within the plant.
- Liaise with local Authority like BOMBA, DOSH; DOE to ensure all standard regulation are followed.
- Provides leadership in achieving safety goals. Ensures on-going safety awareness for facilities department and ensures that various environmental and safety regulatory requirements are adhered to.
- Responsible to develop/ maintain facility engineering drawings, Operation Manual and SOP.
- Lead, Manage and coach a team of Facilities Technicians and Facilities Team Lead in providing day to day operational support, PM’s and undertaking projects.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): Knowledge in FMCS, BMS is preferred.
- Knowledge in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, Screw & Turbo Air compressor, dryer system, Ventilation, process cooling system.
- Knowledge in Fire Life Safety system and Preventive Maintenance.
- Knowledge in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook and project.)
- Knowledge in ISO 9k, ISO 14k and LOTO management is a MUST.
- Communications and presentation skills.
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
